About Caitlyn
Caitlyn grew up sailing in the Chesapeake Bay where she found her passion for the water at a young age. She always knew she wanted to pursue a profession in the maritime industry.
By her mid-20s, Caitlyn was a dockmaster at a Norfolk, Virginia marina while owning and operating a boat bottom cleaning and detailing business. At 30, she set off cruising on her Bristol 35.5 to Florida, the Bahamas, and Puerto Rico. Caitlyn then started a vessel delivery business and gained broad knowledge across many makes and models of power and sailboats.
She joined the commercial maritime industry aboard tugboats working on the West Coast, Gulf Coast, and East Coast. She holds a USCG 200 Ton Master Near Coastal and 500 Ton Mate Near Coastal license, and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Adventure Yacht Sales. Caitlyn lives aboard her Cape Dory Motor Sailor MS300 in Washington, NC, and serves the Carolinas and Virginia.
