Steven Markley

With over 25 years of experience in the marine industry, Steven Markley is a seasoned professional whose passion for boats runs deep. Starting in 1995 as a deckhand aboard charter boats in Barnegat Light, NJ, Steven's love for the water led him south where his expertise continued to grow.

Steven is a graduate of the University of Maryland, where he spent countless hours on the Chesapeake Bay. He also attended the Chapman School of Seamanship and earned credentials in Yacht and Small Craft Surveying. His certifications include ABYC Standards Certification, and he is a member of the Society of Accredited Marine Surveyors.

As a former 100 Ton Master Captain, Steven has operated, managed, and transported vessels of all sizes along the eastern seaboard, across the Bahamas, and beyond. His career also includes vessel management, marine surveys, professional offshore fishing, commercial towing, freighter assistance, and operation of municipal utility vessels.

From New York and New Jersey to Maryland, Florida, and the Bahamas, Steven has served private vessel owners with top-tier service and care. He is committed to staying current with industry standards through ongoing education and training.
